We managed to balance both Passover and Easter this year around Sylvie's hospital visits including a 4th NG tube replacement while isolating ourselves from big family seders and/or Easter egg hunts.
While Sylvie was pouring through the Easter basket I carefully assembled for her, Michael and I alternated wiping Sylvie's face from the recurrent bloody nose. Her temperature was 100.3. She's clearly in pain and we clearly can't give her Tylenol w/ Codeine either because it could mask a fever.
I called the Tomorrow's Childrens clinic hotline and Dr. Appel quickly called us back. He said that since Sylvie is due in clinic tomorrow morning at 9:30 that our goal today should be to stay out of the Emergency Room. Miraculously, Sylvie's temperature dropped to 99 so for now, we can stay put.
