Bed of Roses

I am excited. I am VERY excited. Last night was my turn to sleep on Sylvie's floor and break in the Aerobed mattress that our friends Greg & Lisa gave us. It's really hard for me to accept help and when Greg pleaded with me last Monday it was with an open heart that I gladly accepted. Breaking in the premier pillowtop was a big event for me so of course I slept right through adding more Complete toddler formula to Sylvie's pump and we were both jarred awake at 6 am with the loud BEEP BEEP BEEP.

Michael and I are adding some ritual back in the little boss's schedule including (gasp!) bathing and tooth brushing. You'd think Sylvie was being tortured. It took us both just to get one swipe with the toothbrush.

Tomorrow we have to be at the Reuten outpatient clinic at 9:30 for labwork. Sylvie's potassium level was a little low last Thursday so they need to do some follow up. Hopefully it's no big deal. I'll be sure to bring lots of diapers and a change of clothes for us both as to not repeat last week's giant disaster.

As far as the rest of the week, we have at least two trips to Town & Country pharmacy, another to the compounding pharmacy, chemo on Thursday and the usual assortment of medicine, magnesium, Neupogen shots and potential for Tylenol with Codeine and/or Colace.
